Privacy

Your data. Your app.

We do not store your financial data

Boss is your private app. It is your personal app. It is a free tool for your own financial planning, built to help you see your money clearly and decide better. We do not store any of your financial records on our servers.

What stays on your device

Everything you enter into Boss lives in your browser. Your starting capital, your obligations, your investments, your monthly expenses, your contributions, your snapshots. All of it stays on the device you are using right now.

  • You can download your data at any time.
  • You can delete it at any time by clearing your browser storage.
  • If you sign in, we only sync snapshots you explicitly save so you can see them on another device. You can delete them, and your account, anytime.

What we do store on our servers

One thing, and only one. If you give a Knowledge Base article a thumbs up or thumbs down (or leave an optional comment), we store that anonymously so we know what to improve. It is not tied to your identity. It is not tied to your financial data. That is the entire list.

What we never do

  • We do not sell your data. There is nothing to sell.
  • We do not show your data to anyone, because we do not even see it.
  • We do not connect to your bank, your wallet, or any account that holds your money.
  • We do not track you across the web.

The promise, in one line

Your data is yours. You can download it. You can delete it. Boss is just the tool. The decisions, and the records, belong to you.
